Lanford Construction was started in 1964 by Frank Lanford, Sr. From the beginning, it was a family business that excelled in providing expertise knowledge of the construction business and high quality workmanship. Mr. Lanford employed his brothers, his sons, and other relatives. His wife, Betty, worked as secretary and bookkeeper for many years. Today, two of Mr. Lanford's three sons still work for him. Over the years, Lanford Construction has provided services to those needing roof repairs, new roofs, additions, new homes, remodels, and other projects. Over the years, the company has expanded the types of work it accepts to commercial work, starting with HHGregg stores across the southeast. Samples of the work of Lanford Construction can be seen across the city; from roofing to residential home improvements, to new home builds, to commercial remodels and other projects, Lanford has been an integral part of the construction business in Huntsville for just over 40 years now.
